After posting this photo on Instragram and Facebook during my 27th birthday last month in Boracay, a few of my friends were asking where I got this swimsuit, why I picked this style, etc. So yeah,

this is my birthday swimsuit, ladies and gents! A red off shoulder cut bikini :)

I had this made a month before my birthday - ordered it at @swimees_closetph (Instagram). I have always wanted an off shoulder swimsuit because I think it’s just the perfect style for me – not too showy but not super conservative at the same time.
Oh, and color RED, of course, because the Chinese believe that the color RED attracts good fortune and luck. That’s why birthday celebrants and guests wear RED during special occasions.

Another Swimsuit that I wore (wasn’t able to post this on social media up until a few days ago) is this One-Piece Sexy Back Swimsuit which I bought from Rea Fab (Facebook), an online shop from Cebu. The fit is so perfect and I love the design which is sort of pastel-ish Aztec.
Too bad this is the only photo Mr. A took of me on the outside of our hotel. This was the time we had to leave our cellphones and cameras at the hotel because we went swimming and rode a paddle board. Bringing our gadgets would be a bit of a hassle.
I chose these 2 swimsuits not only because of their style and design but because I was really comfortable wearing these. As much as I want all my clothes to be the stylish of them all, I still choose comfort over style and fashion. And these two swimsuits had met all the criteria I want in clothing.

I still have 2 swimsuits that I ordered online that I haven’t worn yet. Well, I guess that’s the perfect excuse to invite Mr. A to the beach, or just a village poolside. Either way’s fine.
